True Friend

Once upon a time there was a little magnet, who was very sad because he didn’t have any “true friends.” All he had were metal objects that would cling to him because of their metallic properties. The little magnet traveled to a field where he came across some flowers. “Will you be my friend?” he asked. “GO AWAY!” the flowers said, obviously not containing any metal, and in no way clingy. The little magnet sadly turned away and headed toward the river. He came across a turtle by the side of the river, and said “Hi! Will YOU be my friend?”
The little turtle was confused. “Who are you?”
The magnet again repeated, “Will you be my friend?”
The turtle said, “I suppose. What do I need to do?”
The little magnet had a brilliant idea! “Climb to the tallest tree during a storm, and after you are struck by lightning, we will be able to know whether or not you have metallic properties.”
The turtle agreed, and proceeded up the highest tree in the worst storm of the summer. Clinging to the top branch of the highest tree, he was STRUCK by lightning! KA-POW!
He fell, he plummeted! And landed on the ground. The little magnet rushed over to see a smile on his turtle friend’s face.
Turning to the magnet, the turtle friend said, “It worked! I don’t have any metallic properties in me! I am your TRUE friend!”
Then he died.
~The end.

    Friendship

A rainbow lit up the sky as the magic turtle embarked on his search for the elusive Star flower. Suddenly a fire creature jumped out and roared ” I want that magic wand !! “.

The turtle explained that the key to friendship was compromise – that it would be fair and just to share the wand and take turns. The fire creature agreed and gave the turtle an apple to say thanks.

They went home and that night they both dreamed about being best friends.

Hey, I think your site might be having browser compatibility issues. When I look at your blog in Chrome, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping. I just wanted to give you a quick heads up! Other then that, wonderful blog!
